So...who else has seen the movie and/or read the books?

what do you think???

Cailee got into the books and fell IN LOVE with Edward, and begged me to read them, said it was as good as the HP books (NO!), so I read them. It took a little bit to get into the first one, I kept stopping and reading other stuff, but finally it hooked me.

I thought the last 2 books were the best, and that's what got me excited about the movie.

I actually can't wait for the rest of the books to be made into ...

We're going to see "House Bunny" which I've wanted to see since I first saw the previews, so I'll report back on it.

Going through some boxes in the basement with my mom, I came across tons of old family photos, most of them had been collected by my grandmother and go back several generations. The photos are in boxes, but names and dates are recorded on most of them. It's like a "buried treasure", seeing my grandma as a three year-old for the first time. I have been thinking about making a family scrapbook, but truth be told, I've never worked on such a huge project before and I'm not sure where to ...

She writes erotica (not porn, as Eustacia has established!!) and she has written a book about Phantom because she didn't like the way it turned out so much (me too), another one about The Count of Monte Cristo (not into that story so much)

I'm sure you've all heard about the horrible skiing accident that has claimed the life of Natasha Richardson. For some reason, I'm really struggling with this. I really admired her as an actress and thought she was a profoundly beautiful woman. I'm not sure why this is so hard for me to deal with. Anyway, my thoughts go out to her entire family - particularly Liam Neeson and their sons Michael and Daniel. Truly heartbreaking.

I've been hearing all the reviews, watching this movie win all the awards, and watching people on the Today show go absolutely crazy over it, so I really, really wanted to see it.

I had looked it up, and it sounded interesting, too, not just one of the "critically acclaimed" movies that regular people don't like to watch.

If you don't know about it, it's about the young man, Jamal, who is from the slums of Mumbai, who ends up on the Indian version ...

Now I'm on day shift, except for an occasional night if someone is on vacation or something like that. YAY ME!!

It is run by a family, the Procters, in Yorkshire (or actually on the border of Yorkshire and Lancashire) and is a 24 hour a day webcam, directed to a field, showing the various comings and goings, and feedings, etc of their sheep. They also have a fun archive page, a chat room, and a forum.

I don't know if any of you heard this today, but apparently Julia Childs (for those of you too young, she was a famous TV chef) was a SPY!! Get outta town! I can't believe it. She was, according to the report I read, a part of a covert operative during WWII which included Ernest Hemingway's son, Teddy Roosevelt's sons, and Stewart Copeland's father!!
