Wow....we all know that Alan is an amazing actor, but....wow. The movie was so good, but sad. The story of the Romanov family had always intrigued me. Such wonderful acting by the whole cast.

It's up there with my favouites now!!! Alan is completely spellbinding!

ah yes, the table dancing scene *swoons*. Is this the only time he wears red? I think he should do it more often. I do confess, I don't like the bushy beard, but i think if he didn't have it, this film would be just too much for me!

I just love this mini-series, at least here it was presented as such on tv. One of Alan s best performances in my humble opinion.

I remember watching this for a history class in college. I didn't know at the time, that Alan was in that movie!

I didnt knew either when i first saw this, i was very young. Sad years, not knowing Alan was out there,lol.

Shame on me, I haven't seen rasputin yet.
I have thought about buying the German DVD but as it doesn't have the English audio I refrained from spending money on it. Guess I'll give youtube a go even though i hate watching movies on my laptop.
