Hello Everyone

Hello All, Just found this forum and wanted to introduce myself. I'm Becky, I live in Texas, I'm disabled I have a heart defect. I'm married, have 2 poodles. I love to write and draw, I have a story on Chaos now called Obadiah's Angel. Yes it is about Obadiah Slope!!

First fell in love with Alan after seeing Harry Potter COS, but Blow Dry had me hooked! I love the movie!
Just wanted to say hello all!!!!

Could someone tell me how to get my signature piccy to show up in my posts? I made a banner for the siggy but it won't show!

welcome, glad you joined us.
Another writer at last! Hope you'll share your fiction with us in the Creativity section (make sure to send a pm to a mod if you want access to the Adult Fan Fiction section, where you can find my smut romances).

As to your question, you have to upload your signature banner to some place on the web (Photobucket will do). Then you go to your profile, select Signature and insert the URL of your banner in img-tags; like this, just without the spaces:
[ i m g] http://i384.photobucket.com/albums/oo282/eternityswitch/sig_Ch.jpg [/ i m g]
Don't forget to click "Save", and you're done.

Thank you, I hope I've done it correctly, is there a certain size restriction? I have added 2 to my signature so we shall see if it will be added...I shall work up the courage to post my Obadiah story here! Thank you!

I think there may be...can you downsize it?

I checked your info here on the forum, and where you have the url for your signature banner, it does say "i2" or something between www. and photobucket...it that supposed to be there?? But, I didn't see anywhere that it says a restriction on the size. I would think it would show one of those "placecard" thingies...
BTW, I am an admin. not just a nosey person with access to everyone's account!! (don't worry, I can't see your password or anything)

I took the i2 out and the pictures went away, so it is supposed to be there....I don't know why my pics are not showing up...I resized them....hope someone can figure it out!! SNIFF!!!! I will add the link here and see if it works.....

If it does then something with the siggy part of the profile is off....LOL!!!

I usually just try to start over, but that's cause I don't actually KNOW anything about computers.

I started over almost all day and the siggy thing just isn't working on my profile, I even resized the pictures....may go in and add some text and see if that will work....I just took the links a bit ago and added them to the posting...LOL!!!

went into the siggy box and added text too, but it just won't work for me! Waaaahhhhhh!!!! LOL!!!!

and after the[img] tag in the middle is another "http:"

I took those out because it kept just showing the image.

does that make sense?? but all I really did was copy and paste the url for the image, and then add the "banner by Eustacia" thing under.
it does say there is a 500 letter limit...
and now, I've pretty well exhausted my computer knowledge!
