Alans in the U.K. not New York

I posted here what I had seen on the internet a few weeks ago about Alans supposing to be in New York for
an extended period. I found a letter on the internet that was suppose to be from his agent in England
on Oxford st. saying he was in New York for an extended period. I doubt that now as he has been in England
for a few events over the last week. I wonder if the agent was wrong or if it was a fake?
Please post if you hear of any plays, movies or events he will be in in the USA or Canada.
Oh I forgot to say on my other post today. Rima was at the festival too.
They are definitely a couple. I had heard rumors about him having a male partner.

deedee, I have been posting news and photos of AR in London for over a week now. Check out the DDG thread and Alan's Location in News and Updates. Also, the last letter that I saw posted on another board was dated December 28, 2008 and it stated that Alan was in NY and not to be expected back to London until mid January which was indeed the truth; it was written by Melanie Parker who has the bittersweet job of reading and replying to Alan's fan mail. I'm not sure if this is the correspondence you are referring to.

Possibly his plans changed, maybe thats why the letter was in error.

I personally don't think it is a fake deedee. It looks like an authentic 'rejection' letter from Melanie Parker. All the others I've seen look pretty much the same. In the broad scope of things, I believe that February 8th, 2009 still constitutes "about to return to New York for an indefinite period" at least in the entertainment realm. I think by now that many in the AR fandom know that he and Rima will be returning to NYC this spring to work on getting Creditors up and running and to find/finalize an apartment. That has been the plan at any rate. Having said that, you are correct, we must realize that plans do change and things like 'life' happen and perhaps he simply delayed his return to the states which made the letter appear to be in error. From what I've heard about Ms. Parker and her good working relationship with AR, you can trust her word.
