Well, here's the Jim Gordon banner you asked for, Magenta. I'm working on a couple of other ones, too, and will post them when I finish!

You're very welcome, Magenta. Glad you liked it. A friend of mine from work is helping me with graphics/photoshopping, and I think I'm getting a little better!

I made this banner a few years ago and forgot about it! I made it in paint and was wondering if it needs any changes?

Thought I would share this one with you guys! Someone made this for me awhile back on a different forum. Just happen to find it on computer.

I quite like the Slytherin banner. But I have to say, the "Voldemort's Men" could do with some refurbishing. I don't look at Snape as Voldemort's Man.

Thanks! That was the only thing I could think of for that banner at the time.
Any ideas for names to replace voldermort's men? None comes to mind right now!

I have been thinking of "Slytherins" but you cannot be sure that Igor was a Slytherin. He could have been a Drumstrang student. The trouble is that the three have nothing in common but the Dark Mark on their left arm. I do not see Snape as a real bad one. I see a tragic hero who made one bad choice in his life. A life that never has been kind to him. Bad family, no teacher to direct his talents to a positive direction, no peers who appreciated him for who he was, he always had to do it the hard way. Lucius Malfoy is what he wanted to be. He is selfish. Have you ever read a kind word for his son from him? Igor wanted out and was willing to let others pay for his deeds, not a nice man either.

So I think you have to think about what made you put them together. I also think that the banner would be better if you used three seperate photos as there are no photos of the three of them together.

Magenta... you make some very good points. However, whilst Snape most certainly IS the tragic hero, we must not see his character through rose-tinted glasses. In the end, he was dedicated and selfless, but he was still a nasty piece of work. Not a nice person certainly. And whilst it could be said that he was young and made mistakes, he still sought the power that came with the dark mark, he would have sacrificed anyone as long as Lily would live, even if that meant many others dying. You could say he was blinded by love, but still a selfish act. Still very ensnaring though Twisted Evil (what on earth is wrong with us?!)

Yeah, I know, Snape is not Alan Rickman in disguise.
Snape has his weaknesses, Alan Rickman made me hope for Snape's good core.
Rowling had plans for Snape from the beginning. And the feeling that his life was not kind to him strirred in me before I saw Alan play him. Most of Rowling's characters have been extremely lucky for the actors and actresses who were cast to portray them. But being part of Harry Potter the movies must have been a dream come true for most of them anyway.

I have given myself a special edition of the DVDs, (you won't believe it, but my Goblet of Fire DVD is malfuctionning after being played only so many times), it is the trunk-packaging with additional scenes and interviews with the actors. You get at least two hours additional footage for every film. And OMG, why did they take it out?
For those of us who love the HP series I really can recommend this special edition.

Thanks guys!!!
I love the special editions to the hp movies! And I always thought, 'why did they leave that scene out.' too!
I wouldn't mind the movies being a bit longer.
